Let's bring in some Change!

Here we are after so many years of Independence and funnily enough no one cares about the thing which the country needs - education.
Today’s education has books, loads of books, more books and the funny part is that the content in it is not taught to apply whenever needed. Our education system has become so irrelevant, we are always taught to acquire the degrees only in view of gaining better jobs and we all fail to realise that the academic degree becomes more ornamental and not functional over a period of time.
What is the point of knowing something when you can’t even use it?

Our education system is more theoretical in approach. Except for pure science we don’t have ‘to-do-exercises’ in particular. No other subjects are taught in a practical manner. So the students wouldn’t have the same interest shown on ‘em. The student might rather think ‘Why are we even taught other subjects’? What the students fail to know is that other subjects are equally important to broaden their horizon.

Today’s education needs ‘Material-application-kinda-learning’ where one learns by applying things to see the end result. Be it science or mathematics, as would most likely be the case of some Angrez’y Ishtyle!
The worst casualty in our education system is not being able to groom the child to be more confident, to think rationally, and showcase their skills. The one who knows things fail to deliver in a huge crowd.

The truth is that the students never come across something called 'Vocational skills' (Repair a motor etc).

Major problems like these still exsts in today's education system. As a result parent are more eager to educate their children abroad spending hefty amount of money when we have facilities here, next door.

Enroll your kids for a ‘Brain-Gym’ at Science Utsav and watch your kids apply their knowledge in better ways!
Happy Diwali! May the festival of lights brighten up your life with new thoughts and new beginning to change the way you look at the term education!
